Learning of a break in at the National Wax Museum in Dublin in 2009, LaChapelle was granted permission to photograph the destroyed pieces and began this series entitled 'Still Life'. He rounded out the series at two additional wax museums in the states to complete his vision which addresses the fleeting nature of fame, celebrity and power.

brooklyn night bazaar
Friday and Saturday nights from 6-midnight, Brooklyn gets even cooler. Independent vendors, artists, chefs, musicians, and breweries unite to serve the masses. In this case, masses of beautiful hipsters. A huge venue, this space includes: live music, 130 independent vendors, 50 food vendors, and a wine and beer garden.
